Pink Equines website site has been designed to make shopping as easy and enjoyable as possible. We have also tried to make the check out process (where you complete the purchase of the products you have chosen) as simple and as quick as possible.
However whilst we recognise that shopping online is becoming more and more popular, we still have customers who might be shopping online with us for the first time or are a bit nervous about the whole process. To try and ease those fears and show how easy it is, we have decided to produce a step by step guide.
I am going to show you how to purchase a browband from the leisure riders section of the site. I am going to purchase a Brown Leather cob size browband with baby blue padding and aquamarine swarovski crystal stones (My personal favourite!!)
If you take a look at the screenshot below, you can see that I have scrolled down to the boxes so I can make my choices and have entered the size, colour, padding/stone colour, together with the quantity, in this case one.
Once I am happy with my selection, I click add to cart (the little grey button with a shopping cart on it, next to the quantity field, circled in red)
I am then taken to the shopping basket section of the website, where you will see the product that I have chosen. Please note after a few seconds, the website will automatically take you back to where you were just shopping, but if you look in your shopping basket in the top right hand corner, you will see 1 item, together with the price ( I have circled it in red)
Now you are able to continue shopping and maybe purchase the matching saddle pad that goes with your bridle, or if you have finished you can either click on the view basket button or if you are happy with your choices go straight to the checkout section (both options previously circled in red).
If you click on the view basket, you will see the screen above. I have underlined the product that we ordered, together with a breakdown of the product cost and postage, giving you an overall total, circled in red.
If the product is the correct one, then click on the checkout now button below. If you have put in the wrong products, maybe the wrong colour or size, then tick the remove box and click update. That product will be removed from the shopping basket and you can continue shopping or proceed to the checkout.
This facility allows you to add lots of items to see what the total and shipping costs will be and you can do this as many times as you like, until you are happy with your selections.
Once you have proceeded to the checkout section, you will notice a progress bar at the top, which shows you how far you have progressed in completing your purchase.
You will also see the product or products you have chosen and their total cost. The first thing you will need to do is select a shipping destination. I have chosen UK Mainland and as a result you do not need to select a state or province. If you are a customer from the USA, you would select United Stated from the dropdown box and then select the state that you live in.
Underneath those fields is a box to tick ONLY if you want the item delivered to a different address from your invoice address (for example if you want the item delivered to your place of work). Most people will leave this blank. Finally click on the next button to move to the next page
The second page requires you to input your name, surname, address including postcode, telephone number and email address. It also allows you to alter the shipping option. Default is first class post, but you are able to choose from courier delivery or special delivery. If you choose a different postage service the shipping cost will change and the total will revise automatically.
Underneath you are also able to add any special delivery instructions. There are compulsory fields that you have to complete to be able to proceed and these are marked in red.
Once you have completed the required sections click next to proceed to the next page.
The next page asks some general information, about our site and then you will be asked to proceed to Actinic Payment Processing to enter your credit card details.
I would like to point out at this stage that we use 128 bit encryption and all credit card information is only decrypted once they reach our computer. The information is not held in clear text on any website.
Our website is also secured by Thwate and you can click the trusted site seal on the front of our website for real time confirmation of its validity. So your personal information really is secure!!
Click Next twice, to be Directed to Actinic Payment Processing to Enter your Card Details.
Enter your Credit/Debit Card Details, and any other information that Actinic Payment Processing Requires, then press continue.
Actinic Will begin processing your payment, and will inform you if it has been successful.
Finally you will receive an EMAIL from us, detailing your order.
