The Fleck Eventing Bat is designed to meet the practical and regulatory requirements of eventing and BSJA competition. The Fleck competition grip provides a secure, well-balanced hold, supporting confident use across the varied demands of eventing phases.
A solid fibreglass shaft gives the bat durability and consistent handling, while the soft leather cushioned flap offers controlled contact with a traditional finish. The overall design prioritises function, balance, and compliance rather than decorative detail.
Positioned above entry-level padded bats, the Fleck Eventing Bat is a reliable choice for riders who require an approved bat suitable for competition use. Its construction and materials reflect Fleck’s focus on performance, consistency, and practical design for serious riders.
The Fleck Bat weighs 140g. The overall length is 60cm, the handle is 29cm and the bat is 31cm. The width of the bat is 3cm.
The British Eventing Rules 2023 in respect of Jumping Bats are as follows:
“All whips used for jumping must be padded. The pad must be smooth with no protrusion or raised surface (which includes embroidery) and be made of a shock absorbing material throughout its circumference. One whip no longer than 75cm (and must be no less than 45cm) and not weighted, may be carried when jumping any obstacle in British Eventing Competitions.”
