    Mattes MELP really does what is says!

    Mattes MELP is brilliant and really does what it says. I have several Mattes saddle pads and the MELP makes such a difference to the cleaning process, especially the sheepskin. They come out almost looking like new again. Oxfordshire, UK

Mattes MELP Detergent special washing liquid “melp wash” is bio-degradable & specially formulated with highly concentrated washing agents & regreasing properties ideal for sheepskin, washable leather, and wool products.

Your usual washing detergents, including so-called “Wool washes” can harden leather, make wool brittle & matted as well as contain components that are very damaging to sheepskin.

Most Mattes products can be hand-washed or machine washed at 30 degrees Celsius or less. Washing above 30 degrees Celsius will cause shrinkage to your products.
