Mattes Short Girths are suitable for a variety of equestrian disciplines, that use saddles with longer billets requiring a shorter girth, such as dressage or mono flap saddles and have been purposely designed to fit all shapes and sizes of horses.

Whatever issues your horse suffers from, be it a slipping saddle, a less defined girth groove, or sensitivity around the girth area, Mattes dressage girths are the answer to your problem. Choose from a range of four carefully designed ergonomic styles, in a cotton quilt or leather base with a luxurious detachable lambskin cover for additional cushioning, particularly for horses with sensitive skin. (Mattes dressage girth covers can be ordered separately)

Each particular style of girth has been manufactured to deal with a different size and shape of the horse, so you should be able to find a Mattes short girth to fit.
