Also known as the Mattes Contoured Pad and extremely popular with our traditional horse riders, Mattes Numnahs are available to fit Jumping, All Purpose, and Dressage saddles. Mattes Numnahs look great under the saddle, showing just a subtle hint of colour.
In fact Mattes sheepskin Numnahs are also very popular, as front and rear sheepskin helps keep the saddle seated nicely on the numnah and looks extremely stylish at the same time.
Many customers choose underside sheepskin for added comfort for the horse. Sheepskin being a natural product allows air to flow providing a cushioning effect whilst the fibres help wick away sweat.
In addition you can choose the type of quilt (cotton, cotton sheen or velvet) the colour of the binding, up to 3 rope trims, the various sheepskin options and whether you require Mattes famous correction system.

2. Mattes Correction Numnah. Available in all three designs, the Mattes Correction Numnah includes 2 or 4 pockets allowing you to add or remove shims in order to provide short term balance to your saddle.
3. Mattes sheepskin Numnah. Sheepskin can be added to all styles of numnah. Front and Rear sheepskin helps keep your saddle seated in the right place, whilst the addition of underside sheepskin helps with additional cushioning to your horses back.
4. Mattes hunter saddle pad. This term is used by many people to search for Mattes numnahs because they are extremely popular with the Hunting fraternity.
