      Mattes Eurofit Saddle Pads

      • Measurement A-B (Back Length) - Measure along the spine of the pad, from front to back.
      • Measurement C-D (Depth) - Measure from the top to the bottom of the pad..
      • Measurement E-F (Sheepskin Area) - The measurement will show you where the sheepskin underside will come to, if you choose any option with sheepskin that sits underneath the pad.
      • Measurement G-H (Width) - Measure half way down your current pad from front to back, or if you don't currently have a Eurofit Style Pad, use the stated measurement as a guide to where the pad will come to on your horse.">
      • If you require sheepskin on the top, please allow 3cm overlap for each section when measuring for the correct length A-B (e.g. if you want front and back top sheepskin and your pad is 58cm long, deduct 6cm so 52cm is the space you can fit your saddle into.)

      Custom / made-to-order: this item is produced to your chosen specification. Estimated production time depends on the brand: Mattes approx. 4 weeks, Fleck approx. 4 weeks, and Pink Equine approx. 8 weeks.

      Returns & exchanges

      Every order is checked by our team before it goes into production. If anything isn’t right when it arrives (faulty or incorrect), we’ll work with you to put it right.

      In-stock items: may be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused and returned in original condition.

      Custom / made-to-order items: once an order has been submitted for production, it cannot be cancelled. Where appropriate, these items are handled on an exchange basis. If you’re unsure about sizing or options, we strongly recommend using our consultation service before ordering.

        Hi Jonathan –

        My apologies for the delay in sending pics! The weather has been super hit or miss the past few weeks and the horses haven’t been looking their best without being able to give them baths all winter.

      The Mattes Eurofit Jumping Saddle Pad is designed to combine premium materials with precision saddle fit. Custom made to order each Jumping Saddle Pad is built to support a riders balance, distribute pressure evenly and enhance your horse’s comfort under a jumping saddle.

      In additional to the technical superiority of this pad, it can be fully customised to suit both performance needs and personal preference.

      Customisation Options

      Using our online configurator, you can choose from:

      16 velvet fabric colours
      39 cotton and cotton sheen shades
      30+ sheepskin colours
      Multiple rope, binding and trim combinations
      Different sheepskin configurations (including lined and trim-only options)

      Customisation enables you to create a saddle pad that compliments your saddle, team colours or competition turnout, without compromising performance.

      Performance & Comfort Technology

      All of Mattes products are engineered with horse comfort as the priority and the saddle pad range is no different.

      SPINEFREE® design
      A shaped spinal channel prevents pressure on the withers and spine, allowing airflow and flexibility. An optional extra-wide wither area is available for horses with prominent withers or wide-gullet saddles.

      POLY-FLEX® core construction
      At the core of this exceptional saddle pad, Mattes Equestrian employs a two-layer construction. The POLY-FLEX® needle-punched needled felt provides shape retention and pressure equalization, while the polyester wadding delivers superior padding. Unlike other brands, Mattes shuns foam, neoprene, and gel, allowing the entire structure to remain fully air permeable for optimal breathability.

      SADDLE-FIX® system
      An optional fastening system that helps keep saddle pads securely positioned beneath the saddle.
      Optional CORRECTION® System

      For riders needing fine adjustments to saddle balance, the CORRECTION® system can be added. Available with either 2 or 4 pockets, each pocket includes three 5mm POLY-FLEX® inserts. Shims can be added or removed to adjust saddle position without altering the saddle itself. This is particularly useful for: Young horses developing muscle, horses returning to work, seasonal changes in condition between saddle fittings.

      Eurofit jumping shape and stability

      The Eurofit jumping cut is tailored to follow the profile of jumping. With the patented spine free design, this creates a neat outline under the saddle, helps prevent excess material, and supports stable saddle placement during training and competition.
