    Headpiece & Cheekpieces

    • Measurement A (bit to bit) - Measure from the top of your horses bit (where the cheekpiece connects) behind the horses ears and down to the other side of the horses bit. The final Bit to Bit Measurement is Measurement A+a.
    • Measurement a (Cheekpiece Length, fastened) - This measurement is the length of your cheekpiece, looped and fastened either with a buckle or billet. On the diagram this is combined with the headpiece measurement A+a to arrive at the Bit to Bit measurement.
