Featuring a beautiful selection of seasonal colours in Velvet, Quilt Sheen and Gimora fabrics, each pad can be configured in Square or Eurofit style for Dressage or Jumping saddles, with a choice of Crystal or classic piping and luxurious Mattes sheepskin options.
This collection is available to pre-order only until 30 September 2026, with delivery expected from early October. Once the order window closes, it’s gone.

Custom / made-to-order: this item is produced to your chosen specification. Estimated production time depends on the brand: Mattes approx. 4 weeks, Fleck approx. 2-5 weeks. Delivery times vary depending on Fleck's production schedule. If you require your whip by a specific date, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to provide an estimated delivery date., and Pink Equine approx. 8-12 weeks.

Returns & exchanges
Every order is checked by our team before it goes into production. If anything isn’t right when it arrives (faulty or incorrect), we’ll work with you to put it right.
In-stock items: may be returned for a refund within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused and returned in original condition.
Custom / made-to-order items: once an order has been submitted for production, it cannot be cancelled. Where appropriate, these items are handled on an exchange basis. If you’re unsure about sizing or options, we strongly recommend using our consultation service before ordering.

Mattes Autumn Saddle Pad Collection 2026
Discover the new Mattes Autumn Saddle Pad Collection, a limited-edition range created for Autumn/Winter 2026.
Combining distinctive seasonal colours with the exceptional materials and craftsmanship Mattes is known for, the collection gives you the opportunity to create a saddle pad that’s a little different from the standard Mattes range.
But don’t leave it too long. This is a limited-edition collection and Mattes will only accept pre-orders until 30 September 2026. Delivery is expected to begin from early October.
Choose your Autumn/Winter design
The collection brings together Velvet, Quilt Sheen and Gimora fabrics in a selection of rich autumnal colour combinations.
Choose from:
Velvet Moon Rock / Cappuccino
Velvet Evening Blue / Blue
Velvet Ruby Red / Blackberry
Quilt Sheen Satellite / Cappuccino
Quilt Sheen Evening Blue / Blue
Quilt Sheen Ruby Red / Blackberry
Gimora Evening Blue / Blue
Gimora Ruby Red / Blackberry
These are the eight fabric and colour combinations specified by Mattes for the collection.
Square Pad or Eurofit
Choose the shape that best suits your saddle and preferred look. The collection is available as both a traditional Mattes Square Pad and the distinctive Mattes Eurofit, with each available for Dressage or Jumping saddles in Medium, Large and XL.
Crystal or classic piping
You can choose between two finishes to complete the design: Crystal piping in the middle of two matching ropes, adds a little sparkle and makes the seasonal colours particularly striking. One piping provides a more understated, classic Mattes finish. Both finishes are offered across the Autumn/Winter collection.
Choose your Mattes sheepskin option
Your saddle pad can be ordered without sheepskin or with genuine Mattes sheepskin in the cushion area underneath the saddle. For sheepskin pads, choose between:

The visible trim coordinates with the carefully selected colours used throughout the seasonal collection. These three configurations are specified by Mattes for both Square Pad and Eurofit versions.
A genuinely limited-edition Mattes collection
Unlike the standard Mattes range, these designs are only being offered for a limited ordering period.
Pre-orders close on 30 September 2026.
Mattes expects delivery to begin from approximately week 40, so we anticipate the first orders arriving from early October.
If one of the new colours has caught your eye, we recommend ordering during the pre-order period rather than waiting, as we cannot guarantee that these designs will be available once the Autumn/Winter collection closes.
