    Mattes MELP Detergent a special bio-degradable washing liquid, formulated with highly concentrated washing agents that contain regreasing properties ideal for sheepskin, leather, and wool products designed to clean saddle pads and girths.

    Usual washing detergents, including Wool washes, can harden leather, make wool brittle & matted and contain substances that are very damaging to sheepskin. Mattes MELP detergent will extend the life of your sheepskin and leather, which is why we highly recommend using MELP detergent when washing your saddle pads and girths.     Mattes MELP Detergent special washing liquid “melp wash” is bio-degradable & specially formulated with highly concentrated washing agents & regreasing properties ideal for sheepskin, washable leather, and wool products.

    Your usual washing detergents, including so-called “Wool washes” can harden leather, make wool brittle & matted as well as contain components that are very damaging to sheepskin.

    Most Mattes products can be hand-washed or machine washed at 30 degrees Celsius or less. Washing above 30 degrees Celsius will cause shrinkage to your products.
