    The next generation of Pink Equine Breastplates, features softly padded breastplate parts with a wide choice of colour piping and stitching.

    The Pink Equine Sport Interchange 5 Point Breastplate, also known as the 5 Point Martingale, so named because it uses 5 attachments to prevent the saddle slipping rearwards. The 5 point breastplate is fitted with sheepskin padded side panels which sit on the shoulder, to allow freedom of movement as well as comfort for the horse whilst they are working.

    The 5 point breastplate has the same three connections as a three point martingale, but has two additional straps that connect to the saddle to prevent backwards and sideways movement of the saddle, especially when riding at speed or jumping and commonly used for eventing.

      Description

      The Sport Interchange 5 Point Breastplate, also known as the 5 Point Martingale, uses 5 attachments so as to prevent the saddle slipping rearwards. The five point breastplate is fitted with sheepskin padded side panels which sit on the shoulder, which allows freedom of movement as well as comfort for the horse whilst they are working.

      The Pink Equine 5 point breastplate or 5 point Martingale as it is also known is the next generation of Breastplates affording you ultimate flexibility. They feature softly padded breastplate parts with a huge choice of colour piping and stitching (or can be purchased plain) and incorporate fully breathable neoprene padding.

      The straps feature the better design of elastic inserts, rather than full elastic. This is by far the best solution as the plain elastic 5 point breastplates can lose elasticity over time. The clips make attaching and detaching the Martingale really easy. They can be completely removed and the martingale detached without having to undo the girth.

      All parts attach to the base part via solid brass (chrome plated) snap hooks which are more expensive than the lighter zinc snap hooks. All sheepskin parts are removable for ease of cleaning.
