      Size Guide

      How to Measure your girth


      • Firstly, your horse should be measured after work, this is to ensure that you get the correct measurement and not one distorted by your horse puffing out against the girth buckling.
      • Always measure your girth length on a saddled and girthed horse, both sides of the girth must be buckled evenly.
      • Using a soft tape measure, measure from the middle hole on one side, to the same point on the other side, if it is between lengths, always round it up to the next length.
        Example

        Measurement: 133cm

        Girth Length: 135cm

      • Make sure that if your horse is touchy around the mid section, that you secure the assistance of someone to help you.

      Description

      The Pink Equine jumping girth has been designed to provide maximum protection to the chest whilst allowing freedom for the horse to move through the leg. Made entirely of leather, with a fully breathable neoprene inner filling, that is much softer than normal padding, and therefore much more flexible to the touch.

      Each jumping girth comes with 3 training aid rings to aid with ease of attaching equipment. This girth is completely bespoke and made to order. The girth is elasticated both ends which is proven to be much kinder to the horse than those that are only elasticated on one side. The buckles are roller buckles to aid fastening.

      The leather used has an abrasion resistant coating to keep it looking pristine. Pink Equine jumping girths starts at 90cm (35 inches) for smaller ponies, all the way up to 140cm for larger horses.

      Girth Sizes 90 – 110cm have a smaller strike plate to cater for pony jumping girths.
