      Size Guide

      Overall Measurements

Generally, most bridles can be fitted with the first set of measurements we have provided, however, if you need more detailed measurements, we have provided these below for you.

If you find that your horse is a difficult fit, you can simply ask us to substitute parts of your bridle for the next size up. For example if your horse has a wide forehead, they may need the next size up on the browband, but the rest of the bridle fits perfectly within the size below.

To ask us to substitute any part, please send a note which is available when you check out your order.

Once you have these three measurements, compare them to our chart to get the best fit overall. For the Bit to Bit and Noseband Opening measurements, ensure your measurement is between the smallest and largest sizes shown in the table below. You will see overlap on all sizes which allows for adjustment for inbetween horses.

      • Measurement A (bit to bit) - Measure from the top of your horses bit (where the cheekpiece connects) behind the horses ears and down to the other side of the horses bit.
      • Measurement B (around the nose) - Measure around your horses nose, where the noseband will sit. (exceptions to this are the grackle and drop styles, which are detailed below)
      • Measurement C (browband length) - Measure from one end of your browband to the other, or if this is a new horse and you don't have a bridle yet, use the image below on how to work out that measurement, choose the size that best fits your measurement, and if your horse is clearly in between then choose the larger of the sizes, since your browband may pinch your horses ears and cause discomfort.

Bit of a wait but beautiful

Hi Pink Equine, received my daughters two bridles today. A bit of a wait, but totally worth it, the colour and quality of the leather and stitching is lovely thanks once again. Kent, UK.

A wait but well worth it

Although the wait time was a little bit longer than anticipated the wait was well worth it, my horse looks amazing in his matching bridle, girth and boots. Maine, USA.

      Description

      Description

The Pink Equine ergonomic bridle has been intuitively designed for ease of use. The bridle’s headpiece is sculpted and cut away, and comes with soft padding that offers extra room around the ears for added clearance and additionally provides comfort over the sensitive poll area.

Our collection of ergonomic bridles is crafted from the finest quality Italian leather hand stitched and custom-made to your exact specifications. Our manufacturer is highly skilled and only a dedicated team who have perfected our quality standards are assigned to make them.

You can choose from Black, Brown or Tan leather, with matching delicate leather piping and stitching. To add a distinctive touch, you may opt for different coloured stitching and piping from a range of over 30 colours.

The browband and noseband of the bridle feature soft padding, reducing pressure on the sensitive areas, thus offering a comfortable fit. You can select from a range of different noseband styles that come with buckles on both sides, making it easy to change the noseband. This feature comes in handy, especially if you need to alter your noseband between competition phases, or when you have a sensitive horse. It allows you to put on the bridle in sections.
