The cut of the lambskin lining of the English Endurance saddle pad takes into account the extra wide and long saddle padding of endurance saddles built on an English-style tree. It comes in our popular cotton quilted fabric, although velvet is also a great choice; special lustrous fibres are woven into the fabric to give a striking look while the thick layer of padding makes the quilted pattern really stand out.

Mattes Endurance Cotton Saddle Pad
The Mattes endurance cotton Saddle pad incorporates quilted fabric made of high quality cotton / polyester blend, available in an amazing array of colours. The Mattes Endurance Pad is available in General Purpose, Jumping or Dressage designs. You get to choose the number and colours of the trim, binding, motif and of course the amount and colour of sheepskin you require.
The unique Mattes SPINEFREE ® design reliably prevents any pressure on the withers and spine. The center strip of the saddle blanket can be easily fixed in the saddle compartment.
Mattes Equestrian design the core of the saddle blanket in two layers: POLY-FLEX ® (a needle-punched needled felt) is used for shape retention and pressure equalization, polyester wadding for padding. Mattes do not use foam, neoprene and gel. Therefore, the whole structure is fully air permeable.
Personalised saddle cloths can be ordered with the CORRECTION ® system, optionally with a single or a double bag; Each bag comes with three felt inserts (POLY-FLEX ® ), each 5 mm thick, with print properties that match those of a good new saddle padded with wool and horsehair.
MATTES has developed the CORRECTION ® system to allow adjustments to the saddle position flexibly, easily and up to 30 mm: To correct for rapid physical development of young horses in training, in horses after a long service life, or in trained horses, during change the tournament season a lot, just when fast changes have to be made up for.
