We have yet to find a horse saddle pad to match the superior technical design and quality of materials used by Mattes in their production. Mattes have been producing anatomically shaped saddle pads for many years and all their pads are made with the anti slip underside fabric.

All Mattes horse saddle pads feature a double layer of POLYFLEX® a polyester non-woven felt fabric and either 180g/m² blended cotton twill or 400g/mm² velvet quilt that does not fade, even after the pad has been washed or cleaned many times.

Mattes saddle pads are simply the best, so why go out and buy something that isn’t going to do the job, when there are “off the peg” versions available with all the quality and design you can expect from any Mattes Saddle Pad.
