Thank you to Jonathan at Pink Equine for his advice on the best girth to suit our sensitive pony who was susceptible to girth galls. He recommended Mattes custom crescent pony sheepskin girth, with instructions on how to measure the size we needed. It was made to measure and fit perfectly. The Girth has helped tremendously

The girth I bought from you is a crescent girth to fit my 14.2hh Arab. I first saw a picture of different types of horses, I can’t remember where but the picture squashed looked so much like the type my pony is. Short back, big barrel, narrow chest. I had problems with my new saddle going forward and your girth has helped tremendously. I’ve noticed as time has gone on that it just gets better. As she can’t influence the saddle so much it is helping her way of going and when she gets straighter and stronger I’m sure the girth will then be absolutely perfect. This style girth was recommended also by my saddler.

I’m hoping to add a different colour sheepskin cover in the future, I went for black to start.
